Been married for 31 + years now. I currently work for WW rainger's Cross Referencing Services. I travel around the country with my laptop computer, crossing maintenance parts inventories for our customer's over to Grainger parts. Great hours, and great perks. In my spare time, I work on my proget truck, a 1958 Chevy Apache pickup. Just putting the finishing touches on a rebuilt 283 engine. Hope to have her on the road later this year. I'll be sure and post some pictures when I get it done. For those of you who wish to drop me a line, please do so. |

'My life in 60 seconds' I left Brandywine (Niles) in the summer of 68' to attend Eastern
Michigan University on a track scholarship. I never imagined at the time I wouldn't return to live - as much as I liked Niles.
Running was great, and I did very well making All-American (top 15 in USA) my Junior and
Senior years. Along the way I became interested in Architecture and Design and then teaching.
My grades soared and I made the Dean's List my Junior and Senior years.
I received my Bachelor Degree and started teaching in 1973. During teaching I went back and
received my Master Degree - combined Education and architecture. In 2001 I retired, happily.
Most importantly I got married in 1971, had a daughter in 1972. In 1975 I became a single parent
and a year later began building my house by myself - it would take 6 years !
After college I continued running and ran professionally for 2 different teams. It was really
amazing how much of the country I got to see - but it wasn't a vacation
or sight seeing. Thank god for the MIP teachers retirement checks every month.

| 1968 Dennis Hooten ** anvil_of_love@hotmail.com I've never been to a class reunion of my own. Timing is usually the problem. I did go with my wife to her 10 year reunion in Philadelphia,1985, and pretended to people there that I was an alumnus of their class, shaking hands, clapping guys on the back. Not one person all night was honest enough to say that they couldn't remember me or that they'd never seen me before in their life. As I said in the earlier message, my wife is pretty easy going, she puts up with a lot of crap like this from me. |

| 1968 Leisa Padgett Brait ** leisabrait@sunvalley.net After leaving Michigan State I wanted to live in the east. I finally settled & lived in the Cherry Hill, New Jersey (next to Philadelphia, PA) for the past 25 or so years. I have been a real estate broker (had my own company for several years and sold it) since 1979. Married and divorced, no kids, and married again (in 1996) to my husband Ken (he's a neurologist), who has a 31 year old daughter in NYC. Just last year (2001) we moved west to Sun Valley, Idaho where we could enjoy our outdoor interest, skiing and hiking. We both work here, I am still doing real estate and Ken has set up practice and is affiliated with the new hospital. I feel very fortunate to live in such a beautiful place! Be sure to contact me if you plan a vacation here! |
