| 1970 Cynthia Anglin ** cyndyadair@msn.com I have been living in Florida for the past 20 years or so, currently in the Central Florida area (kinda dull, so considering another move - maybe Arkansas). Most interesting home was our 38' Charlie Morgan aft cockpit sailboat in the Florida Keys. We lived on it for a year and I believe it got smaller every day. Seriously, it was a blast! I have two children and four grandchildren. I have worked as a Legal Assistant most of my adult life but also sell real estate in Florida and create and sell some pretty fanciful artwork. My most recent hobby has become photography (digital, of course). After many, many years away from Christ, I have finally found a joy and peace in returning to Him. My husband and I teach the Becoming Disciples Through Bible Study, a 35 week course that impacts your life with a wallop. We attend the UMC in Maitland, Florida. I am married to Joe Adair, a real live Florida cracker. |
| 1970 Kathy Davis ** kirisheyes@sbcglobal.net Married - again - for the past 5 years to an angel. Two kids, 1 granddaughter and another one on the way. Living in Los Angeles for the past year. Working for the City of Los Angeles as an Assistant General Manager for the Department of Animal Services. Managed to graduate from Indiana University prior to leaving South Bend. Happy, healthy and having a great life! |
| 1970 Craig Difley ** CRDifley@aol.com Lived down south for 23 years then moved back to South Bend around 1993. Got married in '98 to Linda Knapp, Niles, class of 1973. We live in South Bend in a little house with a big yard (she's a master gardener), three cats and lots of plants and flowers. Having not planned for retirement as did Jim, we still work. I'm a Culligan man and Linda, a legal clerk at a collection agency. Karen and Gail always put together a wonderful class reunion for our class---any other '70 grads should make the next one---it's always a good time. |
| 1970 Chuck Groszek ** woodturtleman3@hotmail.com After graduation I attended Western Michigan University and graduated in 1974 as an Industrial Arts teacher. I married a girl I met a WMU and have a daughter who is now 16, we moved to Plainfield, Illinois outside of Chicago. I received a Masters in Structural Engineering and PHD in Psychology from Illinois State University. I plan to retire from teaching in 6 more years and move to the Carribbean Islands. I also own a company called Cyman Turtle Investments Inc. and have a website at: http://www.caymanturtle.com I also wrote my first book on how to become a millionaire through real estate. | 1970 Kenneth Hunt ** krhunt2@yahoo.com I headed for Kazoo & Western Mich University after Brandywine. Hung in for 3 years and quit. Got involved in Crisis Intervention Work, got married, went into Real Estate as a career, got divorced, headed farther north to Traverse City, realized I went the wrong direction and headed to Daytona Beach, Florida. Stayed in Real Estate, got married, moved to Fort Myers, then Spain, then Marco Island, Florida. Twelve years ago moved to a suburb of Atlanta, Ga., continued in real estate, went broke, got divorced and moved back to Fl, left in March 05 and now live in Oahu, Hawaii. I have a 22 yr married son and 18 yr old daughter. I am planning on attending class reunion in August. I want to be married again but not by a piece of paper but my a "marriage of the souls" and i look forward to my own ascension into the 4th dimension as well earths ascension to the 5th dimension between now and December 23 2012. "He that has ears let him hear". |

After graduating HS, I went to Valparaiso Technical Institute, Valparaiso
IN. then moved to the suburbs of Chicago in '72. I have been in Aurora IL
since 1977. Married in '75, married second time 2002. Two daughters, two step daughters, six grandkids, seventh grandchild on the
way. The younger one just started college this fall. I work in the IT industry, which is in the dumper now and currently find myself looking for work for the first time in my life. I haven't been back to any homecomings but our class has had a reunion every five years, of which I missed only one cause I moved and forgot to tell Karen and Gail my new address. We have a great time at our reunions, Thanks to Gail and Karen. I had a motorcycle when I was younger and recently took up touring motorcycling. My new wife and I enjoy going camping with the Harley towing a small trailer. We search out lighthouses around the Great Lakes. | 1970 Andrea Straw ** akt@locallink.net GREW UP ON LAWNDALE, MY TWO GROWN SONS ALSO GRADUATED FROM BRANDYWINE CORY AND ANDREW HUBBARD, AS WELL AS MY SISTERS, LINDA,KATHLEEN, AND JULIE. LINDA MOVED TO BUCHANAN (CLASS OF 74) AND HER THREE KIDS GRADUATED FROM THERE. KATHLEEN MARRIED ALAN HOOD AND HAD TWO SONS BRANDON & JOSH & THEY ARE BRANDYWINE GRADUATES. SHE LATER MARRIED MIKE SHELTON AND HAS A SON NICK WHO IS AT ALBION COLLEGE AND TWINS MICHAEL & MACKENZIE WHO ARE TWELVE AND STILL ATTEND BRANDYWINE. YOUNGEST SISTER JULIE (CLASS OF 80)MARRIED DAN UDELL AND THEY HAVE FOUR CHILDREN, ALL WENT OR GO TO BRANDYWINE. CHELSEA GRADUATED FROM BALL STATE UNIV LAST YEAR, CASEY IS AT FERRIS, NOAH IS A JUNIOR AND CODY IS A FRESHMAN AT BHS. I HAVE WORKED AT THE SECRETARY OF STATE OFFICE IN NILES FOR 28 YEARS THIS MONTH. I ALSO DO SOME CLERICAL WORK AT RE/MAX MODERN REALTY IN NILES. I AM SINGLE, LIVE IN NILES, AND HAVE TWO GRANDCHILDREN. MY YOUNGER SON ANDY IS A MATH TEACHER AT CASS AND HE IS THEIR VARSITY FOOTBALL COACH. THIS PAST YEAR HIS TEAM WAS 10 AND 1. HE WAS NAMED THE LAKELAND COACH OF THE YEAR, THE REGIONAL COACH OF THE YEAR, THE ALL STATE HONORABLE MENTION COACH OF THE YEAR, AND WAS CHOSEN AS THE SOUTH BEND TRIBUNES ALL AREA COACH OF THE YEAR. HE IS A 1996 BHS GRADUATE. HIS WIFE IS A 1997 GRADUATE OF NILES HIGH SCHOOL AND A NURSE AT MEMORIAL HOSPITAL IN NILES. MY GRANDDAUGHTER ABBIE IS 19 MONTHS OLD AND HER BROTHER COLTON IS 5 MONTHS OLD. THEY LIVE NEARBY, SO I BABYSIT AS MUCH AS I CAN, AND I LOVE IT. IN ABOUT 7 YEARS AND 5 MONTHS I WILL RETIRE FROM THE STATE OF MICHIGAN. OVER THE YEARS I HAVE SEEN MANY BRANDYWINE GRADUATES AT MY JOB AND I WILL MISS THAT WHEN I RETIRE. I STILL GO TO ALOT OF GAMES AT BRANDYWINE, AND THINK IT IS A GREAT SCHOOL. I'D LOVE TO HEAR FROM PEOPLE WHO GRADUATED WITH ME OR THE YEAR BEFORE OR AFTER ME. |
