1972  Doug Barker ** dcbarker@bellsouth.net  I have been married for 23 years. We live in South Carolina, just out side of Columbia. I am a machine tool design engineer and my wife is a high school Biology and Human Anatomy teacher. She retired from her Chiropractic profession after 20 years. We have a son who is 22 and graduated from The University of South Carolina (GO GAMECOCKS), a daughter 16 and a daughter 13. We enjoy going to the movies and visiting the beach and the mountains. We are active in our church and I continue to write and perform Christian music.

1972  Linda (Hoelcher) Lono ** LinnyLono@aol.com  After living in New Jersey and Germany, have been in Coldwater, MI. for 27 years. Married 17 years and divorced. Two great kids, 25 yr old daughter (6 ft blonde) who played Div I vollyball and graduated from Coastal Carolina University in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina in 2001 and now lives in San Francisco, teaching at Stanford U. in a gifted childrens program. And a 6'4" 22 yr old son living in Indiana, working as a supervisor in a small business there. (Don't ask me, I'm only 5'3"!) No grand kids yet, but brother Dave Hoelcher just had first son 4/26/02, so that's the next best thing!! Hope to see everyon at the reunion!
1972  Marilynn Leach Clark ** GibbieSue@msn.com  Married to Dennis Clark (NHS class of '72 graduate) for 34 years.  Three grown children, one granddaughter, age 7.  I have worked as a hairstylist for 34 years.  I am currently employed at Rana's New Generation in Niles. My husband and I purchased a home in Cassopolis 2 years ago with 5 1/2 acres of land, and we enjoy gardening, and landscaping.  We also enjoy going on our "date night" every Friday for the past 25 years.  We really like going to the Wonderland Theatre in Niles and see nearly every movie that plays there.  We have been on 4 cruises, and to Hawaii twice.  Love that warm weather!!! I enjoy working out at the YMCA, scrapbooking, and spending time with my family.I also enjoy working at the Niles Haunted House, and have established the BHS Class of '72 as a group that makes money from working.  If anyone is interested in working and donating money to our class fund, please contact me.  It's tons of fun.   updated.gif (1754 bytes)
1972  Michael Nekvasil ** UMGOBLUE@comcast.net  since I left high school I went to work at Clark Equipment until they closed...after that I went into the US Army from 1974 to 1982 come out  with a degree in Finance and Accounting...was married to  my first wife for 15 yrs I had 3 children with her raised my 3 children on my own for 18yrs,,then married again for the 2nd time and had 1 child with her both ended in divorced.. married again  for the 3rd time to a wonderful woman love of my life no children with her...I have 4 children 1 boy 28 and 3 girls 25,24,and a 14 yr old going on 21.. and I have 12 grandkids 8 boys and 4 girls.. I am a Truck driver for the last 28 yrs. my wife is a Sewer at a plant in Elkhart that makes covers for Boats and Furniture Covers for RV's.. been married for 6 yrs.. We live in Mishawaka Ind.. I are spare time my wife and I loves to work outside in are 9 flower gardens and are Veg garden as well.. we also enjoy going for rides on are Harley.. best luck to all my Class mates and too all the Brandywine Alumni in the coming yrs.. 1972  Alan Schmidt ** aschmidt@indy.net   I graduated from Brandywine High School in 1972 as valedictorian.  I remember being thrilled at the awards ceremony getting recognition for English, math and science or physics.  I got a Simplicity Pattern Company scholarship which helped in college and gave me summer jobs.  I graduated from Michigan State university with a bachelors degree and high honor in chemical engineering and continued on to get a doctorate at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.  I did research work at General Electric company in Schenectady, New York and Pittsfield, Massachusetts.  I married my wife Linda in 1983 and we now have a daughter and son at Purdue University in mechanical and electrical engineering.  We live south of Indianapolis in Greenwood, Indiana and work for the Indiana Dept. of Environmental Management.  My parents still live at the corner of Beeson Road and Bond Street on the Brandywine Creek in Niles, across from class member Jim Ringler.  I get back occasionally and really enjoy catching up with people and their lives at the reunions.  Our generation typically went all the way through school together, but that was certainly not the case with our children due to job changes.
1972  Len Smudey ** I1800easy@aol.com  Married Debbie Maeyens, in July 1973 who graduated from Washington Highschool in 1970.  Worked 25yrs for Uniroyal in Mishawaka,  am currently employed by Great Lakes Heating & A/CIN South Bend as a Certified Service Technician.  Debbie & I just celebrated 29 yrs. of marriage have 2 daughters Jennifer (24) attending Holycross Jr. College & Jessica (20) who will be a Junior this year at Andrews University majoring in Physical Therapy. 
1972  Phil Stanage ** pgsbillybobyahoo.com   I left the 9th Grade to enlist into the United States Army in 1972. My friends called me George during this time. I would like to communicate with all friends. Life is to short to let it pass you by.
1972  Debbie (Wetzel) Yackey ** DYackey@msn.com    Graduated from Ferris State College in 1974 with a degree in Dental Hygiene. I married Steve Yackey in 1976. {a 1972 graduate from Niles High School}.  We have three boys, ages 18, 16, and 9.  After living in several cities throughout Ohio, we settled in Louisville, KY 15 years ago. I am now a stay-at-home Mom and volunteer at school and church.  My parents retired in Florida, so I don't get back to Niles much any more, except that we do have Notre Dame season football tickets.  Our oldest son, Bill, will attend I.U. in Bloomington, in the fall so we'll head North for visits.
1972  David Young ** victoredison2003@msn.com   After graduation meet a girl from Niles and married her. We have been married 30 years and have 3 daughters ages 29, 27,  24,  and 7 grandkids.
