I have done a lot of different things since HS. Went to Anderson College (now Anderson University) for a couple years two years after high school. Traveled by road through most of Mexico, Guatemala, and Belize for a time after that. Moved down to Florida, first to Bradenton on the West Coast and then to Lake Wales in Central Florida. Had a quick and disastrous marriage in there somewhere, then bought a sailboat, saved my money, and paid debts for a few years, then took off for points south and north. Sailed down through the Bahamas and back up the East Coast to Norfolk and back. Started back to college at the University of South Florida in Tampa. I graduated from there three years later with a BA in Fine Arts-Painting. In the meantime I worked summers as a sailboat captain down in Grand Cayman on the Spirit of Ppalu and showsed some art in a gallery there. (I still sail from time to time now, but only when I get a chance to help with a delivery or some such thing.) Eventually sold the boat down there and came back to the states, first working as a graphic designer, until eventually I became managing editor of a small publishing company, Lost Classics Book Company, where I still am http://www.lostclassicsbooks.com). I was married to Andrea Keel, a sweet girl this time, in 1997 and we bought a 1914 bungalow in Lake Wales, FL, that we have been restoring every since. We have two children, Tess-age 20 months and Jacob-age 4 years. I have gotten into woodworking in my spare time and work professionally at it once in a while. Hardwood furniture in the Craftsman style is my favorite. We were hit very hard by the three hurricanes this past summer and are working on repairing everything still.
