'My life in 60 seconds'  I left Brandywine (Niles) in the summer of 68' to attend Eastern Michigan University on a track scholarship. I never imagined at the time I wouldn't return to live - as much as I liked Niles. Running was great, and I did very well making All-American (top 15 in USA) my Junior and Senior years. Along the way I became interested in Architecture and Design and then teaching. My grades soared and I made the Dean's List my Junior and Senior years. I received my Bachelor Degree and started teaching in 1973. During teaching I went back and received my Master Degree - combined Education and architecture. In 2001 I retired, happily. Most importantly I got married in 1971, had a daughter in 1972. In 1975 I became a single parent and a year later began building my house by myself - it would take 6 years ! After college I continued running and ran professionally for 2 different teams. It was really amazing how much of the country I got to see - but it wasn't a vacation or sight seeing.
