Since I hardly ever get to see any of my wonderful classmates, I figured
that I would provide a wordy, but brief thumbnail on the summary of my life
since BHS.

After Brandywine, it was off to college, as it was for most of us. (And I
thought high school was taxing.)  In 1970, my path took an unusual turn when
I entered professional football. I spent two seasons with the San Francisco
49ers, until someone else came along that was better than me.  In the off
season, I worked as a body guard and did some acting. After leaving the
sports world, I immediately went to work for a defense contractor in the Bay
area where I became VP of Operations.

Then in 1974, I was recruited away to join a major international consulting
firm. There I spent the next nearly 5 years working, traveling and living
all over the world.  I have been fortunate enough that I have lived on, or
visited every continent. In case you are interested, my favorite place to
live was Australia.  During this period I worked for the likes of United
Airlines, International Harvester, Texas Instruments, Carnation and 43 other
companies.  Needless to say, I learned a lot in a very short period of time.

When I returned to the states, I was again recruited, this time to head up a
troubled Silicon Valley firm.  This was a turnaround operation which lasted
only long enough until I was able to turn it profitable, and get it sold.

After being recruited so many times, I finally decided to try my hand at
executive search, which I have now been doing for the last quarter of a
century (is this where time flies when you are having fun?).  I moved to Los
Angeles and started a company that has grown and flourished ever since.

As some of you may remember, I was always in to my cars. In the last three
years I opened a classic/musclecar restoration company that is doing
extremely well.

As for my personal life, I am divorced with two lovely daughters. The
youngest (20) just presented me with a wonderful grandson. She and her
husband live in Montana in a town smaller than Niles (only 300 people) if
you can believe it. The oldest (22) lives here in Los Angeles and is a
successful working actress.  She is currently a regular on the HBO series
"Deadwood".  She is planning a September 2006 wedding to my Chief Mechanic.
I sold my airplane and now have a new interest, which is my Martial Arts.
Over the last 7 years, I achieved a 2nd degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do (in
2004), and am currently training in the Israeli art form of Krav Maga.

This is the story of the 40 years SINCE Brandywine.  I have often thought of
my classmate and people I grew up with. I miss all of you and often
reminisce of those days of my past. Unfortunately, except during a tragedy,
I tend to rarely get back to Niles to see those of you who are still there.
I would love to hear from each and every one of you to see where your lives
have taken you. Please get in touch, and thank you Jim for developing this
wonderful forum to stay in contact. Forever - Go Bobcats.
